I always use Revo Uninstaller Free Portable in Advanced removal mode and it's always done a good job of completely removing registry and file remnants left behind by the native (built-in) uninstaller without causing any issues.
In the mean time I've downloaded the portable version of HiBit v2.6.25 to a USB thumb drive and will test drive some of the extra tools that HiBit offers that aren't included with Revo Uninstaller Free. Have you ever tried using either of these advanced HiBit tools? I haven't been able to find much user feedback about this tool, other than a few comments posted in the Wilders Security Forum thread Uninstaller Software and one review posted at. I noticed that the HiBit Uninstaller homepage lists Forced Uninstall and Installation Monitoring as two of the included features, which are not available with Revo Uninstaller unless you purchase the paid Revo Uninstaller Pro version. It seems to do a pretty thorough job but you do get a yellow UAC warning when you open it.
I've been using HiBit Uninstaller lately.
